New shoes

I’ve been looking for a new pair of running shoes for about a month. I wanted to get a pair before my current pair were at the end of their life and a month before the Rock n Roll Portland Half Marathon.

Looking through Runners World, various online shoe stores, running sites, and different shoe brand websites I finally found the perfect pair! Drum roll please…

Asics Gel-Noosa Tri 7

I purchased these, because they had the cushioning I needed and I wanted to try a different brand. Bonus that the colors are awesome! This picture does NOT do these justice. These shoes are BRIGHT. Another bonus, the toe and heal glow in the dark.

  1. Man those are bright! It’s cool that they glow in the dark. What were you running in before? I am addicted to my Sauconys and have a hard time even contemplating another brand.

    • I was running in Brooks before and before that I was running New Balance. I was going to get some Brooks Pure, but did a lot of research and found these to be a good fit!

  2. LOVE them!!! I’ve seen these shoes at the running store I shop at and I look at them with envy because they are SO super bright, but nonetheless, they’re mens, and the womens style of this shoe doesn’t fit my type of running, etc. Love them Wes!
